Hi! I’m Andrea. Ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved reading, writing, and acting. I have continued to carry those passions with me through adulthood, and they have served me well through my work career. As a sign language interpreter, I was able to tap into my acting skills and used my voice to ensure clear communication. As a copy editor, I got to satisfy my reading and writing itch. And now as a voice over actor, I’ve combined the best of everything and made it into the best job in the world! I love tapping into my many life experiences to give every script the best read possible.
I was thrilled to book my first voice acting job as the lead female character in a 3D animated cartoon. Voice acting combined everything I loved, so I decided to make it my career. After years of studying, training, and purchasing the right gear, I officially stepped out into the world of voice over. Over the years, I have been honored to have worked on numerous projects in commercial, corporate narration, eLearning, animation, video games, and radio imaging for clients such as Samsung, Bayer, Chick-Fil-A, Atomy, iHeartMedia, Philips, and more.
I currently live in South Korea with my husband and an Asian radish that looks suspiciously like Thanos’ Hand. When I’m not in front of a microphone, I can be found enjoying one of my many hobbies including gaming, knitting, camping, or baking.
I grew up as an adopted Korean to a Caucassian family from a small town in Ohio, USA. I fell in love with acting when I saw the 1960’s TV movie version of Peter Pan and found out that Peter Pan was played by a woman! I realized that acting opened up a magical world where we could be anyone we wanted to be. While on-camera acting never seemed in the cards for this 5’2” Korean shorty from the Mid-West, my passion for theatrics and performance has never dwindled. I am ever so grateful for my career as a voice over actor and for the many wonderful opportunities I have to continue to play in the world of make-believe.
